Ultimate hillclimb (Finished/Results)
I had posted a while back about doing a hill climb and I would now like to get things running. This first event will be a replay entry while I find a suitable day to run a delayed start event on and to also test car builds etc.
filthymonkey Motorsport brings you 2old2hillclimb. Ultimate hill climb.
rules are simple.
no car that is a super car ie Bugatti etc, no car that starts life as R3 R2 or R1
drive swops, engine swops and aspiration changes are allowed.
cars must be fitted with full rollcage and race tyres and the hill climb number board (will be on my storefront ASAP)
Track to be used is fujimi kaido new hill climb.
drivers must save a replay and post on storefront, labeled 2o2hillclimb. also post on here so I know to go and look for it.
the quickest time will be crowned king of the hill and will get a king of the hill number board to use in future hill climb events ( until they are beat).
there will also be a prize for best paint worth 1,000,000 and the chance to have there logo on the cars for the next event.
there will also be a prize for driver with the best style worth 1,000,000 or a custom paint job built for you. Style will be judged on choice of car and driving (we like sideways).
There are normally classes in hill climb, by year built or engine size, but for now I'm going to leave this out and see how we go.
as I've said this is a test bed for future delayed start events so any imput or ideas are very welcome.

. Then I watched Max's replay again and realized I can't keep up with that monster Yaris. Great fun though, I love hillclimbs. Especially in a vintage RWD fighting for grip, it doesn't get much better than that.
Oh yeah, I didn't see the number plate on the storefront so I just used one of my race plates. Maybe I'll grab the hillclimb plate and do another little exhibition run for shits 'n giggles and post it up...

I have been running several cars all in A class. I just have'nt posted time yet. This has been a lot of fun. I can't touch Max but have a whole lot of fun trying. I will get a time up before the deadline.

This is fun stuff guys. This should be REALLY popular. I really like the wide open builds that you can do.
I've already got a few cars picked out and even built for the vintage races.
I thought I had a really good time then watched FTW's and realized I was off the pace a few seconds. Oh well!

We were goofin' around after burnt's Monday night madness and your event inspired us to do a quick delayed start hillclimb. 15 sec intervals. Plenty of room between cars for a clean road. Seemed to work pretty well.
Glad people are enjoying the event so far and that its sparked a bit of interest in p2p racing, there are a lot of great race series being run but this is something a little different.

the comp closes at midnight on Sunday 24th march. Please make sure anyone who still wants to entre has their replay posted on store front before then. Replays posted after 24th will not be accepted. Please name replay 2o2hillclimb and post on this thread that your replay is up. I had no idea dazjon had entred comp, lucky I was looking at other replays and found his.

I want to enter, but I don't know if I'll make the dead line if your making it 3/24 @ Euro midnight or 3/24 USA midnight. Had alot on my plate lately.
