that's ok, most of you would have been wrong by picking somone other than Pittsburgh anyway.

I pick the Rags.  Philly and Pitt won't win it because they are going to kill each other in the first round lol

Oh man. Major choke job by the Pens tonight. They stopped playing after 3-0. After the Flyers won it it got so quiet in Pittsburgh you could hear a Kleenex drop.

Normally, yes. But this has happened before against Pitt. and throughout the year overall. I'm not even phased by it anymore. It will probably happen again too. I've come to the conclusion that the Flyers are addicted to the stress of playing from multi-goal deficits. They need it to get them going. If they ever get the lead they'd probably get bored and let in a few soft goals just to get the buzz back.

Funny how things have changed. Flyers trail, and use skill to comeback. Pitt. trails and they goon it up behind the lead of their Capt. I had a lot more respect for Neal before that game. I kinda hope game 5 is played just straight up with no BS. Flyers need to play some actually D eventually. The shit Carle is pulling will get them in big trouble with whomever they face next, assuming the Flyers don't have a Bos. style collapse.

Well here's hoping the Pens can avoid the sweep tonight. Just a putrid display of hockey by them so far.

yes i think that counted as "avoided".

i don't know if it will do us any good in the long run, but at least they showed up for one game.

I really wish the Flyers would just put them away already. At least this one resembled a real hockey game for a change. My biggest concern now is they before game 4 both teams had crap GOalies and D, now Fleury is actually playing well and that is making thigs a whole lot tougher. Dude made some amazing saves last night. He WAS my favorite Flyer for games 1-3 though.wink

The Funny thing is, everyone picked some of these series to be over in sweeps or 5-6 tops. They're all goin' the distance. I expected the Sens and Caps to get destroyed. I figured Fla. would put up a fight, but not this. They have looked good enough to be just as likely to survive as NJ. Out West, I thought Van City would at least show up. Bobby Lou should be gone by next season now. I'm curious to see who's willing to take on that contract and the playoff choker albatross he's carrying now. BTW, I love that the SCF favorites, in Pitt.(sorry Wamam) and Van., are both out already.

Talking Luongo waiving his no trade for Toronto or TB.  Whoda thunk it.  Class move on his part not to hold the org over a barrel for it though.

Great goalie but that contract no  As long as the asking price isn't too ridiculous I'm in favor of him being a Leafs player ..... but if Vancity gets too greedy then they can keep that shitty forever contract.
