fuck Gabe. I'd understand if this was 2009. It's 2013. It's been 6 years since the last expansion left on a cliffhanger. Last full game was 9 years ago.
Don't cliffhang if you're never going to make another, and the excuse it by "you want us to innovate!"
Hire more creative and coders, and give people what they want. Then end it, don't cliffhang it.
I just read a story that Valve renewed the trademark for HL3, so there's still hope.
Not possible to be a Steam Machines exclusive. Maybe PC in general. You can't tie to hardware since steam runs on many systems.
