Request for pages/last page bar at the top also

Sometimes, especially now with the hot forum topic thingy, if I click on say "Unrelated" it will instantly take me to the first page, though my intention is to check out the latest posts in that thread. Then scroll down, which is a pain on a Mac ;-) to find the pages-last page bar/buttons. Is it possible to have that option also on the top of the page?

I'd like to be able to do that on top of the page as well as the bottom if possible. Makes for easier navigation.

Only reason I'm asking for it is because it's norm on some other sites I visit and I'm really used to it.
