The point was, you obviously didn't read Kittens post, but felt the need to regurgitate everything that's been said before anyway, regardless of whether it was appropriate or on the subject. As such, it wasn't and truly, I don't care what your opinion is on it at this point. It isn't germane, or Randy, or even Michael...

Well, that doesn't make my words incorrect.

I suppose you could have quoted what I had written and said instead "This doesn't address what Kitten was asking, she wanted to know more about X instead."  Which is completely different than what I saw in the reply, you see.

I got confused when what I wrote, which is in line with official information, was being called false.  Then when I tried explaining why what I wrote was correct, I was told to piss off and was called blind etc.

So forgive my lashing out when I had no idea what the problem with what I actually wrote.

Also, Kitten, sorry for missing a part of what you were asking.  Is there something more you're wondering that the Xbox links don't cover?  Might not be known for sure now, but can be talked about of course.

You don't get it.

"

Yes, it does.

Your statement can be totally true, and completely off topic, so if your words are meant as an answer, they are wrong...as for your words, they're the same ones everyone else uses, you're just using them incorrectly...or perhaps inaccurately?

So you think the question about if she doesn't own an Xbox "Uno", and my reply stating that she doesn't need to own an Xbox to play on there even without Gold subscription is off topic?

How can I put this nicely... That's patently false.

Couldn't resist.

i did. I took a nap lol!

I was (and kinda still am) confused, because if my brother is home and my other brother and I want an escape, we can say "nick...I wanna play (insert name of game Nick doesn't care about here)"..and we can have him tell his Xbox One "hey turn on and stuff." What I DIDN'T know was when he isn't home yet can we still do that, or will the Xbox One think we stole his shit? (Not that it matters but he doesn't care what we play or when as long as its not his precious COD lol)

With all the links and arguments and all, I'm still not sure...I'll just wait and see, and make sure Nick keeps his 360 til we figure it out. Damn y'all make me tired!

She posed a hypothetical situation, tongue in cheek, of sneaking into her brothers room, without his knowledge ( she doesn't live there) and messing with his account on Blops or something, and messing his kill/death ratio, which means she would have had to turn on the box, log in as him ( if it didn't auto log) and then play his game, as him.

The questioning is, can the box be set to not allow her onto the tag IE facial recognition perhaps, or even access to the games if it decided she was not he. It was a hypothetical question about just how capable the system would be in discerning and protecting his "stuff"

Not what XBOX Lives new policies are, or how many people can play on the damn box if he turns it on and says "have at it", or who can share, or how many on the friends list, or if she could use his stuff under her tag, or bla bla bla...

99% of all the crap that followed had nothing to do with the situation she presented...was she seriously considering it, I doubt it, could it have been a fun discussion about just how good is the system, or what do we think it may be capable of doing, as we all know, we don't have one in our hands yet.

The questions you'd ask or think I was respoding to are not the same as the questions I saw and responded to.  It is not my mistake to call something false for mistakenly assuming what it was about.

I can speculate about those if you'd like, but I was addressing one particular short question with official information.  That was it.  It wasn't incorrect, but your assumption it was referring to some other thing was incorrect.

The Earth is not a planet according to the way you think.  Its patently false that Earth is a planet, because it is written in this thread.  Guess we should inform world leaders?

I explained what I responded to that she wrote already.  If you want to say I was talking about something that I wasn't, or that I was responding to a question that I wasn't, that's fine, but don't call me the blind one here while you do it please.

Next time I ask a question in here, somebody punch me in the boob please.

OldSchool is right about me throwing a hypothetical joke in the middle of my question...I mean the kinect is supposed to be doing this shit to protect us from thieves...but if everyone who drops into my brothers room can use his Xbox UNO when he's not there...what keeps a thief from taking it and doing that?

That's where the privacy and security settings would come in.  The auto-sign in can be configured for example.  There aren't a ton of details, but you have a good point Kitten.  If it is stolen people should not be without security settings they could have set prior.

I suppose the internet requirement might work as a means to track it possibly, but who knows.

Honestly, I thought Kinect sign in was more to save time and not require controller than to protect against physical theft.  Who knows there either though hehe

No boob punching from me even though you asked a question :P

HOLYSHIT. I did ask a question RIGHT after saying that. But...but ...TECHNICALLY it's repeating a previous question.

oldschool, I think your question is if the facial recognition auto logs you in.  It probably does.  But I'm sure you can turn off auto-login just as you can on 360.

If i didn't want anyone else to play my tag, I'd just have to put in a password upon startup instead.  But no one plays it but me, so I just auto-login.
