In the new editor, hitting Enter inserts two lines instead of just a carriage return. It makes posts not intuitive and sometimes take up more space than needed. Can this be changed back?
A lot of the forum software is doing this now. If you notice it isn't a full double return, it's just a paragraph break. You can bypass it by holding shift when you press enter.
well technically it is a double space - if you hit enter twice in say "Word", it would work the same way. You can call it a paragraph break, but it's annoying. I post on many different forums and this is the only place I've seen it. Thanks for the info.

I see it all over. Sony's forums are like this.

You can see the spacing is different. You get use to it once you learn you need ot use the shift+enter. There probably is a setting for it though.
