Can't paste from Word clipboard.

Tying to paste into a forum post with riched text enabled fails. IE 11 Win 8.1. The feature worked with IE 10 and Win 8.

I cannot paste text or links into forum posts, but I can use copied text as blog titles. What's up with that?

IE is not supported and in the future version of 2o2p will be dropped completely from support.  That's not to say that things won't work, but I just don't have enough time in a day to baby sit the crap code that comes from MS anymore.  Since 11 is brand new I have even less of a desire to figure out what thing they completely fucked up this time around.  I know you like your MS stuff Deep, but from a web dev side they are so terrible at compatibiliy that working on fixing their issues is like a full time job.  I simply think they suck and supporting the suck is only giving them more oppertunities to suck in the future.

In the mean time I'll look into the paste issue and try to see if it's an easy fix.

Give it a shot for me day.  I've fixed a lot of the bugs that in terms of the posting area but I don't use IE 11 so no way to test.  I'm using a brand new editor as well.  Less smiley options, but it should perform a fucking ton better then before.  This includes mobile.

Although I like the new new look of the editor, It looks like the new editor no longer allows you to past a table from google docs (spreadsheet) into forum posts without it losing its format and turning to crap.  This sucks as we use the ability heavily in 2o4f for our race results, setups sheets etc.  Is there a work around for this in the settings we can do?

I'll look into it ASAP.  Did you normally just copy post from google?

I can now copy and paste tables (Spreadsheets) into the forums from google docs however the formating is nothing like it was and will need to be adjusted before submitting.   I'll play around with it a bit more.  This is a step in the right direction though even though the original version was much better.

Thanks

Just let me know what exactly is getting screwy.  I'll look further into it but a good idea would be to get an example of a doc to share with me.  At least then I can see what is getting stripped.

Surface RT 8.1 IE11. Paste from Word into rich text mode. Touch keyboard input.

HARDWARE
My SURFACE RT 32 GB without a keyboard looks and functions exactly as it did from the beginning with the exception of some ‘improvements’. Over the months there have been several updates, both OS and firmware. One of those updates did something to the audio to seriously improve it’s volume. Sure it was a software change but the effect on hardware was significant.
