NICE!! I wired up the monitor last night and tried the video adapter board out and it works great!!! The picture looks amazing! And for only $39 it was a cheap and effective way of running a newer monitor on the good old jamma board. Have you already purchased the video adapter? You got any pics of the cabinet yet?? :)

Here's a couple pics of mine so far. I've got pieces painted, but still have a lot of work to put into it. These were taken a while back. Been a year or so since I've had time to touch it.

I'm also not sure if I'm gonna run a 360 or a mame pc....or try to rig both up.

SWEET! You need to get back to work on it! LOL! What size monitor are you using? Looks big, like 32"? I'm considering making my mame cabinet similar in design sort of. I have a few sketches put together and I think I might do a little bit of fiberglass work and create a really wild looking cabinet. Anyway, I worked on the bezel this weekend. The bezel itself turned out real good! However, I think I need to do a little more work on the actual image. I tried to guess-timate the dimensions, monitor angle, etc... but as you can tell some of the upper images had to be cut into. It still doesn't look that bad but, now that I have the actual pieces cut I should be able to modify the artwork and get a full image LOL

That's looking good man.

I'll get back to it probably in the spring. It's too cold to do any heavy painting right now. We've been having some weird weather patterns here in S.C. the past few weeks. One day it's almost 80 degrees, next day it's 50, then it's raining.....

The style cab is called a Taito Vewlix. If you google it a bunch of tutorials and project pages should come up. It's a pretty popular style apparently.

The monitor is a 27" LCD TV. I wish I had of gotten something different though, because the quality of it isn't that great for HD games.

That is sick man. Nice work. I did notice that you're playing World Warrior and not Championship addition. cheeky

It's crazy to think that before Champion Edition mirror matches were never possible. The features that it displays on the cabinet crack me up. Takes me back. :-)

When doing the bezel artwork I even left the mispelling of Balrog's name (Barlog). Lol

That's funny. I still call him Barlog to this date. The Sega Genesis had Championship Edition and in the game they called him Barlog. Lol.

Man thats awesome. It reminds me back when that hit arcades and the SNES. Really one of the most epic games in history. Great job.
