So I was thinking not about retro games but about retro everything. What if we had to use technology from 5 years ago? And I mean for everything ( car's,phones,computers,) you name it. What would people do?
I think the younger generation would freak out. I am sure some of us older ones would be ok with it. I hate cell phones, and use mine as an alarm clock, so that would not be a huge deal to me.

Yeah I agree they definately would freak..You know I don't think Id have a problem hell I don't have to many new things so wouldnt chnage me much ..I use my phone as an alarm/reminder *cough* tetris ...lol
I think most of my "tech" is 5 years old. I think about the only exception I have is probably my video card in the PC (2 years old), my laptop (3 years old) and the BlueRay/streaming player in the bedroom (which I would be perfectly fine w/o the streaming tech bit). But the PC itself was built in 2010...and still on the original MB & processor. My phone is an original iPhone 4 (not even the S), so even it's 5 years old.
Hell, the newest car I own is 19 years old. Of course a couple of the cars I own were some of the baddest cars of the day from the early to mid '90s.

Yeah same here..My laptop is a 2009 barely plays Minecraft on pc..My Xbox one is the newest thing I own ..I haven't had a car in like 8 years but at the time my newest was a 94 and I was overly happy that it had a/c in ...But I will say my first car was a 1980 Trans am and loved that.
I hate phones, play Diablo3 which is how old now(?) and am getting back into making sawdust out in the woodshop soooo....

I hate smart phones but I would find life difficult without mine now. I use it for news, sports, games, banking, gps, email, facebook, music, youtube, camera, buying stuff etc.
