Public forum
Hi everyone. You've probably seen all the debate around 2old2play, the issue of clans, membership rentention and so on.
Unfortunately activity around 2retro2play has been quiet as well. I have decided to make this forum open to everyone in the hopes that more people will post and become involved. Do you think this is a good idea?
I think it's a good idea, would it be worth making a post in the public forums letting others know so people will come in?
I was going to mention that I think you added me to your clan by mistake and then I came accross this post. lol
Fine by me. The more people to look up on Live the better.
If you decide to close it back up and give me the boot I will understand.
Retro gaming hey. This group sounds fun. Although it makes me feel old
Naaa not old just experienced as am I
I remember when you created the clan that you were wondering what would be the best, clan or open forum.
I'll stick to what I wrote then, open forum is the way to go in my opinion for two reasons, first the wide range of retrogaming topics (buying tips, old games reviews, emulators, etc), second the fact that, unless we setup some regular gaming sessions (when vacation time is over for everybody ) on xbl, there is no need to adopt a clan structure for now.
Besides, from a technical point of view, open forum allows us to have sub categories which would be perfect for something as vast as retrogaming.
You were right my friend
Even a blind dog finds a bone some days...
Well 2O4F has now gone open and its not that bad TBH. Just need to make sure there is someone to monitor stuff, just in case
Well I guess I'm the admin so that duty falls to me.
Sowaht exactly is 2old2retro? 8 bit and arcade? That is what it looked like in the various topics. Looks cool so now I have some topic browsing ahead of me. :)
I think retro covers alot of areas from arcade to anything not playable online or just out dated and not played
Retro can be anything from Pong to PS2 and everything in between!
Good to know, I was growing curious myself. :)
This is cool. I am really beginning to like the open group idea.
I recently picked up a bucnh of older games for the PC (Warhammer: Dawn of war series) and have a stack of older games for the PS2 and original Xbox. I am going to hold off for about a year or so hopping into the next gen (whenever it comes out) so I can get through some of these older games.
Need to pull my N64 out then
What did you play on it? (GoldenEye already assumed).
Like many here probably, Goldeneye was my first intro to FPS in a local setting with others...ah the good ol college days...
