Just started playing on Steam a bit. Never will be a keyboard gamer, but an elite controller and a USB wireless adapter work pretty well. Graphics and response a bit better than console. I am using GEFORCE overlay to record gameplay but have to turn off HDR for that to work. Video quality still good since I can capture in 4K. Tried OBS but can't get it to work.
For me, it's about being able to play all the games I want to play on one system. I can't play MCC, or UT99, or Mass Effect, on the PS4. But on a PC I can play all that and more.
Video is a bit better with higher frame rate, even without HDR for Destiny. I can also easily record game play in 4K. Using a wireless adapter, controller response is as good as console. This might all be moot when the new console comes out, but for now playing on desktop is just a bit better.
Edit: I might also note that I was getting bored which was enough of a push to get me to try PC gaming. I currently have Halo MCC with CE, H2 anniv, Reach, and H3 as well as Destiny 2 available thru Steam. I signed up for the Ultimate Game Pass which will give me access to both console and PC games thru the XBOX App (MCC and Forza 4 downloaded already). An upgraded Destiny 2 will be available in September and the new DLC -- New Light (outrageous price) -- will be available on console and PC for free. Downloading a couple of strategy games now.
I'm still setting up my system - I need to get a controller connection!
I'm moving from PS4 over to the PC, so I'll problably play both for a bit, but moving more towards PC over the next year.

So why change over to PC?
