Old to the world, new to the site

Hello,

I was doing a search for advice in Defiance and came across this site.  I'll probably mostly lurk but I have a ton of games on Steam, mostly FPS, some RPG, few strategy. 

Been a "gamer" since beating my dad at pong in the '70's.  Worked my way through most of the arcade games, Sinistar and Time Pilot still suck quarters from me if they're available. 

Sold my Atari 2600 (they didn't call it that back in my day it was just Atari) for a 5200 and was pretty dissapointed.  Played with the NES, Sega Genesis, PS1, PS2 and Xbox360.  I'm not much of a console gamer, I feel like I have better control with the kb and mouse. 

Started playing multiplayer with Quake II, played Rogue Spear with my friends using the Microsoft Gaming zone (remember that?) but haven't kept up even at OnLive where I have a number of games, Gamer tag there is Mr Freeze.

Most of my purchases these days are Steam sales, I don't need to be the 1st one to play or beat a game.  Defiance was on sale, it's the 1st fully priced game I've bought in years.

I work in IT, usually build my own machines.

I'll be playing Defiance for the near future.  I'm more interested in co-op multiplayer so if you want to play, let me know.

Live in the West so I probably get a later start in the evenings that most.
