New but Old to the site

Hi all!  While I've had an account here for years, I was completely inactive.  Recently had a life change with my fiancé and her two boys and I getting a house together.  Also, most of my gaming friends game on console and also work at night.  I'd love to find more people my age and older to game on PC with.  I'm currently playing The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (Afterbirth) and GTA 5 Online, but open to playing anything.

Anyways, just wanted to stop by and say hi.

Welcome to the nuthouse. There are a lot of PC gamers around here (including my good self). Have a look at the PC related forums and see who you can find.

What do you play on Steam, Origin, etc.....?

On Origin, past Need for Speed games and Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare (which is a surprisingly good game!)

On Steam, oh boy. I have a plethora of games I started but never finished.  I even have games I haven't even started yet.  Right now, I'm playing Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, GTA 5 Online, and Rocket League.....which I absolutely suck at.

Welcome back.

I'm predominantly PC now as well.  Though I'm still running racing sims 75% of the time.  The remainder is typically spent in Guild Wars 2 or occasionally in Borderlands 2.

I haven't even finished the first Borderlands yet.  Everytime I decide to start it up, I realize I'm completely lost and have no idea where to go next, so I exit the game, thinking I'll figure it out later and I never do. :(

I've noticed that anyone who plays any kind of racing game, leans towards racing sims.  I'm more of an arcade racer.  I want to get into racing sims, but my arcade racing playstyle totally screws it up.

I've never played the first Borderlands.  A friend talked me into BL2.  I'm not a FPS player, but I do find the game enjoyable.  But I agree with you, it's very easy to get lost.  When I run with a couple friends who've been playing it a while, just watching them run all over the place reminds me of watching squirrels.  laugh  I typically just provide back support w/ a sniper rifle.

Ironically, my foray into racing sims started once I began running events in FM3 & 4 with the 2old4forza clan.  I eventually got to where I was wanting more realism in the race settings than Forza or GT could provide, so a handful of us started migrating away from Forza and into the PC sim realm.  It's definitely a different beast that requires retraining the brain a bit.
