Shows off all the modes, some new weapons and features. Looks like they've added a new carrot, the post-game 'price box'. Reminds me of Mass Effect 3 where you can buy boxes of random stuff. In gears theyy're awarded based on number of ribbons/ xp / challenges you get in the game.
Also looks you can now jump off ledges into combat situations. So instead of just taking high ground for a better shot, you can now drop in on the firefight.
I thought i saw the sawed off fire twice rapidly in that video too. Also speaking of sped up things, no wind up on grenades you can just toss them now.
Those caught my eye too. But I also saw some nades being thrown with the wind up too. Wasn’t sure if the quick version is specific to a loadout class or gametype or what.
You can do either the wind-up for better aiming or the quick toss. Gotta love the sticking on a direct hit too. With the new ledge jumping it is going to be really easy to lose track of people if you don't mark them. Even with all the changes I'm still kind of excited for a new Gears. No more stopping power on rifles... time to make gnash potatoes again!!!
Gears of halo?
Polteg, I kind of agree with you.... Gears is getting closer and closer to Halo and COD with every new game. Biggest difference is 3rd person and the awesome executions and body explosions you get with Gears.
