New and Novice Drivers Event Saturdays 20:00 GMT

Saturdays I host an hours racing aimed at the new and novice drivers.

 As one of the things a new driver has to do is learn the tracks, this week and future weeks we will just be driving one track. 

 

 The track this week will be (to be decided)

 

 Car classes will be decided as we go along, starting with F 

 

 Now this is not about winning or losing but about learning to race with other cars and passing or being passed safely and fairly. So if you find your self way out front , slow and pull over, let the field pass and make your way back through the field again. This should ensure everyone has someone in their rear view most of the time. 

 

 If you are one of the slow drivers, don't give up your position to a faster driver that has dropped back, don't block but hold your line and make them find a way past, this is good practice at getting through back markers too.

 

 Given enough drivers we also practice rolling starts, one of the most nerve wrecking things a new driver faces on first outings in a Series.

 

 I hope this format will work to every ones benefit and it makes for an entertaining time. If it works I will keep this format going until there is no more dropping back and we have a field of novice drivers ready for a short series.
