Mumble Server
Not sure if you saw this in the GW2 forum, so I figured I'd drop it here too.
The mumble server is open to ALL of 2old2play. I pay for it every month. No reason to use another service if you want to use mumble. I can set you guys up with a chat room and give you all the info you need to get started. Just let me know.
Is it possible to have many specific channels? We have 5 Lance channels (teams) now, a Mechlab channel, pilots lounge and of course AFK. I don't think I am forgetting anything. I would be cool to have the rest oof 2o2p to easily see us and pop in whenever they feel like.
Raidcall has been working very well the last couple months, but like I said it would be great to be so close to the other members of 2o2p. Is there plenty of room in mumble? We have been getting over 20 people in our channel at once and it keeps growing.
What the rest of yous think?
I think Raidcall is working out fairly well. Joining the Mumble server might get more of the community into MWO, or at least allow us to socialize with the rest of the community more. It's kind of a toss-up to me. Never used Mumble so I can't really vote one way or the other.
Well as for quality and reliability mumble has it in spades.
I like Raidcall. It's not perfect but its really good.
I've used mumble before and it works pretty good. I find it a bit high on bandwith at times but overall its better then ventrillo and i think bit worse then teamspeak3
I don't care that much which way we go but I'm perfectly fine with raidcall if we stick with it
