Mugello full- Sounds like this month's rival event. Perhaps Road America and Mazda Laguna Seca to round out the three tracks? I will be there if I make it home from the Bordello in time.

There, altered...

2nd post updated with tomorrow's approved cars, still room for more suggestions.

NOTE: In the interest of full disclosure and If I followed along correctly Oldschool didn't actually submit the tracks for his car so changes may be made here if he chooses to alter the great suggestions by his peers.

BTW Ciletti, I really wanna look at that Alfa Q4 tune you have...

I can't get that last tenth of a second, and it may just be my lack of driving/tuning skill, but...I did hit 203 on the Rival LB's as of last night.

Am I still in the top 100? I would gladly share the tune with you, but it was store bought. I haven't learned how to tune a drag racer (yet), but I can follow "drop catch" directions pretty well with a good tune. Painkiller is the drag tune specialist in the ALS garage.

Marenello track update made.

@Oldschool - Can you let me know what time you expect to be on this evening...my self imposed rules dictate that I only run the recommended car when the person who recommended it is present but Sarcasmo is interested in the Ferrari and looks like Ciletti is too, both of which I'm doubtful will be on at 7:00 so thinking of running the Ferrari a little later but dont want to screw you over.

I'll be on later as well, so I don't think moving it back will be a big deal, unless something unforeseen occurs. (teenagers, etc...)

I'll try and make it.  Please send me an invite and I'll get in as soon as I can.  I may be a bit late though due to work.

I'll send out invites to all my on-line friends (who are actually on-line) when I start the room so just join in whenever you want Grimm.

2007 Peugeot 207 super 2000

Since this car is easy to drive with the stock tune, Fujimikaido Full Reverse could be interesting, and Tsukuba.

I suppose we can accept this late entry BUT Fujimi Kaido is already slated for the Golf so pick a couple more tracks.

Thanks for hosting Parcells. We had some really good racing tonight. That Peugeot 207 was a blast to drive. I hope we can get a series going with that car.

Agreed and what an understatement regarding the Peugot. Not sure how xSitement found that car but hats off to him cause that was best stock car I've ever driven in Forza. Parcells gets too confused hosting actual series but I do the odd one-off events and this car got me so excited I'm going to set something up for tomorrow so pay attention to the forum.

Thanks everyone for showing up last night, Parcells had some great battles with everyone and minor apologies to Fitzy and Oldschool who did their best trying to avoid Parcells abnormal braking points as I did my best to hold these guys up while I was coming to grips with how to drive those tempermental cars (Ferrari and BMW) on Parcells less than favorite tracks. Seems like every race with these cars I only understood the better racing lines on or near the last lap.

If you'd a kept up on Mugello I'd have shown you the line? Laguna was a real handful though...

I had a great time, I liked all the cars we ran, even the VW after a lap or two.

OK boys and girl it’s that time of the month again. The experimental monthly production lobby has been successful enough to continue the tradition so in two nights the fourth installment will commence on or about 7:00 EST.

As always if you wish to drive a particular car/track combination please submit your request and I’ll get it added to the schedule otherwise we wing it all night which also works.

NOTE: I updated one of the rules stating that a one second roll off delay may be implemented at Parcells discretion. Participants can certainly voice their opinion and I’ll most likely go with the majority but the way I figure it if we have 10 or more people and complete chaos at turns 1, 2 or 3 there’s a reasonable chance the next race will have a roll off delay. In any case, it has not been an issue to–date and really shouldn’t be if you’re not trying to win the race on lap 1.

If you're running reverse lobby points grid, wouldn't it be the back of the pack that causing turn one issues?

Almost seems like Oldschool is trying to set Parcells up. I totally agree with your statement. In this format It is very rare for front runners to cause chaos at turn one which means the back guys cause most of the problems which means the faster guys cause most of the problems. Sounds about right to me.

Just trying to keep it real. 76

Sometimes the new/slower guys get a bad rep 23 and sometimes I like to point out what should be the obvious, uncommon sense perhaps?

Second post updated with tonight's pre-approved cars/tracks. Both Fitzy's and xSitement's requests have been approved and neither went through the typical rigorous approval process. This month I decided to approve simply because these gentlemen care enough to submit a request. There remains time for additional submissions for anyone interested.

We will start with the V8s tonight (assuming Fitzy is present) as it's pretty late in Europe at the time and Fitzy really needs his beauty sleep.

The last couple of months it has taken 10-15 minutes for the room to start filling up so depending on the numbers at 7:00 EST we may do a small run or two in a Lotus Exige (or something) as we don't want to race around LeMans with only 4-5 people..at least I dont think we do?, we'll play it by ear.

Update: The monthly production lobby is being cancelled until further notice or forever, whichever comes first.

Parcells will go back to one-off production racing events as he sees fit.

For those that are interested I am working on a one-off Opel Speedster Turbo event to be held some Saturday afternoon within the next month or so. This will not be a “stock tune/build” event that Parcells typically runs. Instead it will be a specific built car (B500) with fully adjustable parts but we will still race half a dozen tracks.

Only rule I’m on the fence about is…”should I limit the final gear ratio to ONE value for all tracks?” If someone wants to go through the trouble of setting up gears (and general tune for that matter) for each track all the power to them but on the other hand different gearing can severely alter the cars performance on a given track so there’s that. I guess I’m leaning towards a fixed final gear ratio but will certainly change if the majority want to tune for every track.
