MMO Tera

I was just wondering if anyone else is playing or planning on playing this game?  I'm a bit of a sucker for the fantasy MMO.  Except for WoW, just couldn't get into that one.  Though I did play many years of Everquest, and Lineage.  I figured I'd give this game a run and see how it goes.

Currently Playing:

I got in to one of the weekend closed betas.  Didn't think much of it.  If it were free to play it might be worth messing around with on rare occasions but I definitely wouldn't pay a subscription for this.  Especially not with GW2 coming out so soon.

It's actually really good and very addictive.  It will seem easy up to mid 30s then the grinding starts.  Tera really doesn't show itself until after level 20 when instances start and you can start using glyphs to further customize your toon.  All the classes are very fun and each is very unique in its own sense.  If you didn't reach level 20 and play beyond that in the Beta you missed out on alot in the game.

GW2..bleh.  Played Guild Wars 1 enough and all the reviews I have heard so far about GW2 haven't impressed.

I havde a friend pl;aying this and he says he is loving it. he is in the Gw2 beta, but he plays foir a bit then goes back to Tera. Not the best comparison as GW2 is still in beta but it is a nice pat on the back for tera.

Been reading the reviews and consistently they say, fun and exciting combat system! You don't hear that to often in an MMO. But after that and looking pretty it isn't that impressive as nothing else has been improved at all from the old mmo crutchs. Get quest, kill 5 wolves etc.etc. The races thaqt they showcase all the time look like carbon copies from FFDXIonline. Human, elf, muscle man race, furry girl, and short stack. I 2 other new races I think? The pedo girl and demon dude? There are things about this game that do put me off but when I get a decent pc in a month or 2 I do want to give it an honest try.
