I heard a rumor that Mrmanbat was one of the worst players around. You obvious haven't played with me yet.lol.
Hi, I am 51 and started wtih Nintendo. Went to Super Nintendo, N64, Gam cube, various Gameboys(original, color), and switched to XBOX 360 when I realized I would rather sit back and push buttons and move joysticks instead of waving my controller around in the air to play these games.
I am in Southern Indiana near Louisville, Kentucky.
So many games and so little time. Have had to be picky about what I play so the list includes...
Gears of War series
HALO series
Modern Warfare/COD/BLOPS
Bioshock I & II
Fallout 3/New vegas
Grand Theft Auto; Liberty City
Mass Effect.(MOST CURENT)
A few other games are in the mix but these are the major ones.
I will visit here off and on to but I am also member at a couple other sites for "older" gamers so again the lack of sufficeint time rears it's ugly head.
Oh yeah, I am a chiropractor. Combined that with the name of a favorite movie, Terminator to get the gamer tag.
Hello everyone! Name's Chris, but I usualy use the tag Diptera, or "Dip."
I'm a 30 years old lifelong gamer who just had his first kid. RPGs and I have a long hitory, daing back to Dragon Warrior on the NES (a game I still like to fire up to thios day). Though the game that really hooked me into RPGs was Final Fantasy 2 (IV) for the SNES. For the longest time, I played RPGs for the in depth storylines relative to other game genres. Played everything I could get my hands on that was even RPG-like as I was going through school. Admittedly though, I've not been able to stomach most J-RPGs as of late, despite them being a staple of my younger self. I'v found that I just don't find stories about spikey-haired teens saving the world through the power of friendship to be that appealing anymore, and I feel the classic J-RPG has just not grown with it's audience. I now much perfer Western style RPGs like Dragon Age (2 was a mess :p), Mass Effect, The Elder Scrolls, and the Witcher games (though I just picked up 2, and only have played alittle of the original).
I primarily play on PC as of late, though I do have a 360, a Wii, and my PS3 (the prefered console). RPG-wise, I'm giving Dragon's Dogma a go, though progress is slow due to not being on consioles much anymore. Looking forward to Dark Souls on the PC, Torchlight 2, and if you want to lump it in with RPGs (its debatable), Borderlands 2. :)
Just happy to be part of this group. Playing a bit of Skyrim when I am not too busy with Mechwarrior Online...also enjoy ME3...still have to play through the new endings...maybe when Leviathan comes out.

Welcome! I will shoot over a FR when I get some time tonight. We got a good group of people playing ME3 multiplayer going right now and it seems there is going to be a good sized group picking up Borderlands 2. Every now and again people were getting a chat group together for Skyrim but that has fell off; people are still playing though. The guys posting in the ME3 boards are good folk to game with and most are on my FL. With the exception of a few aggressive players, most on my FL will pick you up for co-op goodness. Don't be afraid to drop in on our party chat, that is what it is there for. There are a few swapping pawns on Dragon's Dogma. There are also some people here eagerly chomping at the bit for Torchlight 2 and I am hoping this makes the port to 360.
Thanks! And hello everyone. Reddot82 here on the xbox. Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum.
I am a 30 year old father of 2. Love my RPG games, along with FPS and strategy games. Been gaming since i can remember, my aunt got me hooked on final fantasy and zelda when i was little. Its has just escalted from there. I do have a family, so i usually get on after everyone goes to bed. So i sacrifice sleep to game :) But oh well. At least i still get to do my hobby, and my wife gets her tv time. So it all works out. Hope to talk to yoou all and get to know everyone.
Been floating around the forums a bit now, I race with the Forza group. I enjoy playing a wide varity of games, RPG, FPS, MMORPG, WTFZOMGFPS. Been getting into Skyrim a lot lately and Borderlands 2. I currently play mostly on the xbox since I am staying with family. I recently transferred to a different office and will be moving into a house in March. Then its back to PC for most of my gaming.
In my daily life I am one of those guys that invetigate aircraft accidents.
Being courteous all new members should make a post in the intro thread.
I am a 26 year old lady. Not old but old enough, apparently. I've loved my RPG's since I first played Link's awakening on my big brick of a gameboy. Up until that point we only had a sega mega drive and a sinclair spectrum- best machine ever, btw. I still have it although it has no cables any more :(
Never had a NES or snes I'm afraid, much to my disappointment.
Always been a fan of the zelda series, final fantasy, Tales of _____
More recently I've played Nier, which I recommend to all, blue dragon, lost odyssey, dragon quest. I heavily enjoyed Morrowind and Oblivion. I've never played Skyrim though. Not sure why.
My copy of rogue galaxy (PS2) was scratched in a tragic accident so my man begged me to get him another copy for christmas. He played that baby through and through. And I watched :]
I'll never turn down a good D&D style RPG, mind. Especially if it's Forgotten Realms. Anyone played Neverwinter nights? I have all the expansion packs.
I have never touched WoW though. Nothing against it, but I value my life. I have a bit of an addictive personality and I know exactly what will happen.
My man plays Gamigo Fiesta. He's -very- good at it. He was the first Gladiator class to cap in Europe apparently. There's mentions of raids at least once or twice a day.
