Yeah, that and map files locking just from trying to open them for a custom or forge session and no custom game films on custom content.
With the success of both mcc and h5 is this going to be the norm for game developers. Are they just gonna start pushing out half finished games and make us pay to be beta testers
By success i mean able to sell huge numbers of the game. We were all worried about h5 after mcc but still bought it and while its not as bad as mcc 343 seems pretty content with the way they do things. I wouldnt be surprised if other game franchises take note and start pulling the same shit
They've already been releasing half-assed/broken games for years. Battlefield 3 & 4, Arkham Knight (pc), last couple Assassins Creed games, Fallout 3 and especially New Vegas, any of the Payday games on consoles, GTA V with their online component, etc. And that's just off the top of my head so I know I'm missing a few.

I never had any issues with the battlefield games i liked 4 alot and i havent played the other games
Not sure when you picked up BF4 then, because if you didn't have any issues at launch, you should probably buy a powerball ticket. Hell, EA/Dice even put a halt on all BF4 dlc and other games like the Mirrors Edge sequel in order to fix the major issues and make the game stable.
Halo 5 is hardly the first game to do it. Its been like this for the past decade with games. Just off the top of my head from the last few years:
Diablo III
Sim City
BF4
Batman AK
MCC
Brink
SWTOR
Thats just off the top of my head, but almost all of these were unplayable to some extent at launch. Diablo III just flat out didnt work for almost a week. Sucks when it happens, but I'd say in the case of H5 it doesnt come close to these other catastrophes.
It is probably a matter of priorities. Timmy doesn't care at all about lobbies but maybe a little about customs. So I expect forge and customs to eventually get fixed but silence to reign in the lobbies for quite some time.
A work around to customs theater is to either stream the sessions or have players involved that can record sessions. A pain in the butt for the customs developers but a work around none the less. Note that the lack of theater essentially killed the Mythic campaign community. Even the founder has lost motivation for continuing that effort.
I had bf4 for 360 first since i didnt have a xone yet but yeah i dont remember having any problems with bf4. I didnt play any of those other titles the games i play madden nb2k series gears mass effect halo before mcc and destiny thats pretty much my game list for last 14 years really dont play anything else and they have all worked. Oh and earlier cod games

Fair enough, but the point I was really making is that H5 really isn't that bad compared to a large handful of titles in just the last few years. I'm also surprised you didnt have any issues wtih B4F at launch. It has been called the worst gaming launch of all time and even spawned more than 3 lawsuits.
Im guessing thise problems were on the xone and not 360 or maybe there was a problem and i just dont remember and played somthing else till it was fixed. H5 is deffinatly not the mess that mcc was but they didnt release half the game at launch and then called it free content when they dropped it. The more i play the more i notice just so many little things that halo did that isnt around anymore. Lobby chat to me is huge. This has to be the first game to ever fuck up lobby chat since online gaming can to consoles
TIC.... Maybe we should try to get 343 to release H5 for the 360... Then ask that they add it to the X1 backward compatibility list. Then... maybe the lobby chat would work..... Or, just play it on the 360. I miss the 360 game chat.
