A little late....

I was on one of my wild road trips over the New Year Holiday, and survived it fairly well.  4 hours down to Creedmoor, NC to see daughter and grandbabies.  Ha!  One of those grandbabies just had his 22nd birthday!  Yikes!  Had a good time, played Apples to Apples and laughed a lot.  Slept fast and 2 1/2 hours to Gerry's son and grandbabies, still in NC but closer to the coast.  Saw Frozen (I highly recommend it for anyone!), ate more, then took off for the almost 5 hour drive home.  All the while coming down with some kind of bug, but still able to fake "feeling ok" until that long drive.  Got home to find out that the cat had accidently been locked in the closet (she is a little rascal!) for 2 days.  The inside is kinda torn up, may have to replace the rug, but today she acts like nothing ever happened.  And Gerry?  Forget about it.  I'm not sure if the cat will have a happy home much longer.  Very, very sad about that.  But that is an ongoing issue.  So, here I am today, have the day off, fortunately, cuz I would have had to call out.  Feel like doggy doo.  Ahhhh, what I really wanted to say....
