Labor Day - Lotus Exige Cup Extravaganza!!!!!
Time for a rerun of the ever prestigious and notorious Lotus Cup extravaganza. No doubt you’ve never heard of it. Presented to you by Parcells2 this coming Monday (September 3 - Labor day weekend everyone) at 3:00 EST (2000 GMT – to allow the Euro guys participation). Updated rules below.
Event is very straight forward….total lobby points is declared the winner after the below 6 races are run (roughly 12 minute races). Everyone uses a stock Lotus Exige Cup 240 (no tunes/upgrades allowed). The winner gets their name announced in this thread along with all the prestige that goes with that.
Limited damage will be on and the race start will be reverse lobby points all night (most lobby points at back of every race). No cautions.
If you would like to SECURE a spot in the field let me know below (FYI…schedule permitting or any other wishy washy responses is not considered securing a spot), I will make sure you get a spot if you show up on time. Otherwise it will be a first come first serve basis.
I’ll open up a room about 2:30 and the races start at 3:00 sharp.

Gonna be a busy Labor Day weekend. Lotus Extravaganza Sept 3 along w/ a 2 hour rFactor Bathurst Endurance race with Group A Touring Cars (running a BMW M635 there) on Sept 2nd.

Event Update:
If Parcells remedial math skills are up to par we have 9 confirmed participants listed below. These are the lucky handful guaranteed a spot in Monday’s slowdown. The rest of you have roughly ten hours to confirm your participation before the media campaign (mostly regional) begins when the rest of the spots could quite possibly, you never know, fill up quickly (max of 16).
Some of the newbies are not friends of Parcells. You can send me a FR (Parcells2) before race time or you can join the room via the friends list of most race participants.
Parcells appreciates the interest of my respected clan mates (should use the word “group” vs. “clan”, GeorgiaDawg reminded us 2O4F old timers years ago they’re not overly fond of the word “clan” in the Southern US, stuck with Parcells years later but I digress) that “think”, “might” or even “try” to make it on Monday but that type of language cannot be considered confirmation, my apologies for not listing you below. I’m particularly disappointed in you Mikey, you’re gonna try and make it? , Do or do not there is no try.

Would you look at the nerve of this guy, he is allowed to take part and all of a sudden he is running the event. Parcells I think about a 10 second time penalty in each race is in order.
