Help Wanted/Needed - Looking for other players
I figured I would start a thread where other 2o2p members could connect and find other players to play with. Yes, we have the AFOF tag but it can get difficult to find other players that are on the same chapter as you (try to avoid spoilers if possible). Between this post and the AFOF list we should be able to connect with other 2o2p members more easily.
When posting please list your current level and class of the character you want to play with, where you are in the game and what time you will be online. Also describe a bit of your playstyle so folks know what to expect (fast playthrough, look for all loot, etc.)

Okay, I will go first.
I am dying alot and I need some help! I am looking for some other players to help out my level 18 Assasin. I'm currently in the "Fridge" area in the story. I will be on tonight about 9PM and most nights about that time. I am a pretty slow player in general as I like to opan all chests, etc. But I am flexible on that.

I'm in Epheria and Sawtooth doing missions currently. Level 31. I have to go back to epheria because I totally missed all the bad-ass challenges on that map but i've done a couple already on Sawtooth. I think i'm currently on the treasure map mission in Sawtooth. That's the one thing if you play with me, i do play a bit slower. I enjoy the fighting but I also enjoy the bad-ass challenges and to me, they're just as much a necessity to complete as the story and side missions. My gameplay mentality is not to blaze the fiastest route to the end of the game.
Level 22 Siren working all the side quests at the moment in the highlands/fridge area. I'm a bit on the slow side and like to explore/work on challenges.
I am on my second playthrough, now at the wildlife preserve mission on true vault hunter mode. Im looking for other to play on second playthrough tvhm because it is fricken hard. Seriously it kicks your ass basically anything one hits your shields. It is borderline cheap ass AI at times and the new enemy types are way harder.
I mainly wanted to get through a second playthrough so I can start collecting level 50 gear and trying to farm for rares. So far between my first playhrough and this one I have only found 2 legendaries, I thought playing on TVHM would increase my chances but so far I have been getting sweet fuck all for cool gear.
And to top it off my two Oranges are a level 30 Bee Shield and a level 32 Hornet pistol which are now obsolete to me. The drop rates for rares are really frustrating in this game
I found two rares as well so far in PT1. Playing with more people increases the rarity of rares, also if you can afford to 'waste' the relic slot, runwith the 5% better chance of finding rares relic.
I found an early rocket launcher that I used for a while but it only does 3k damage so now it sits in my vault, it's worthless. Later I found a legendary shotgun which I still roll with. Got it when I was level 30ish so it's still doing enough damage. I haven't found anything better yet.
Do the badass skills reset for second playthorugh?
Also, I'm about to hit level 30 and I've only found 3 organge weapons and I'm not using any of them any more. Funny enough the first mini boss right at the beginning of the game, knuckledrager, dropped an orange grenade mod.
That boss dropped a ridiculous orange caustic pistol for me that I used until about level 16. I thought it was crazy that the first boss dropped such an awesome weapon. I thought I had just gotten really freakin lucky.
Hey guys, somewhat new to the whole borderlands experience. I did play 1 a bit when i was on ps3.......but never got into the whole co-op experience with it, because none of my old ps3 buddies played it. So if anyone else is new and just trying to figure it all out, send me a friend request and maybe we can get in some games together. I typically play later in the evenings/early mornings. I live in IL so am on central time.
or if any vets of the game jst need another player, im willing to play.
Just a couple loose ends to tie up on playthrough 1;
2 of those mailbox delivery type missions. Arms Delivery in the Highlands (I think?), and the refund checks in Eridium Blight. These have been a pain olaying solo, seems like it would be a breeze with more players all headed to different destinations. Also, a few rounds in the Hyperion Slaughter Dome ( the one with the robots).

I had a lot of trouble with the arms mission as well - but I overcame it (with time to spare) by parking vehicles near the pick up spots, running back to Overlook to start the quest, then teleporting to the vehicles instead of driving there. I don't know how I could have done it otherwise, I kept running out of time before I'd even get to the last pickup.
This is a great idea and I will be trying it out tonight. I've done this before but never thought to use it with the mission. I was going to see if the vehicle artifact I have would help but teleporting across the map seems much more helpful.
I'm at lvl 28-29 with two of the arena missions open (one in the fridge and the gamestop one). If you wanna get some xp w/o repeating or ruining story missions or you didn't preorder from gamestop and don't have access to the preserve arena, hit me up.

The missions where you're timed and have to visit various areas across the map are ideal for doing coop. Just spread out and trigger the start of the mission and it makes things a lot easier.
Level 50 Commando - finish all side quests, defeat Hyperious, and find more legendary loot
Level 25 Siren Nurse - finish main/pirate campaign. on Wildlife Preserve and Lighthouse missions
Level 14 Assassin Sniper - finish main/pirate campaign. Haven't started Pirate missions yet

Currently my main is level 34 commando.
I have a lvl 35 gunzerker on his way to the final boss. Then I got a lvl 21 assassin, 18 comando, and just started a mechromancer who is a lvl 5. I'm good for whatever you're up for. I'll shoot you a FR.
Have you beat the final boss yet? I need to finish him as well.
No, got to last story mission then started to clean up side missions. I'll be around this weekend if you want to give him a go.

im on tvh mode. Level 50 zero. Havent leveled up any other ones. Im basicaly running around trying to find better loot than what i already have. Im not good enough to beat any of the raid bosses but enjoy helping anyone out that needs assistance knocking out missions or challenges. Just got the 3rd dlc and and am currently getting my ass kicked. Hit me up if you want someone to waste some time with.

My friend and I (lvl 50 siren and zero) play can only play one day a week. Monday from about 3pm (Pacific time) until about 730 or so.
Would love more in the party for the level cap raise...we've messed with the raid boss but havent killed him...we dont have any of the current dlc.
We're kinda slow through the game..but still playing regularly.
