So last night I fire up Titanfall to play a few rounds. During one of the matches I was just a school of murder. I can't think of the map name but I was using the smg and laying waste to all that stood before me. At the end of the round the drop ship hovers over the roof of a building to pick up the enemy team. I cloaked got up next to the roof on a lower level and threw a satchel charge and waited until the drop ship was just starting to hover. WAPOW and I get 5 kills. One guy is left in a Titan fighting a few of our titans. The score screen comes up and a couple of the guys from the other team were making some funny comments about getting blown up waiting on the ship. Then it occurs to me "XBOX RECORD THAT!!!" All I got was a recording fo the scoreboard :(
I really have to remember that damn dvr funciton more.
Nice! I forget the record feature also. When I do remember to say "xbox record that", it is hit and miss on what I get recorded. The only way to make sure you get your nice moves recorded, is to snap/ game dvr/ end recording/ then tell it how far back you want to go.(up to 5min). Seems to be the same in other games also, "xbox record that" does not get what I want very often.
Didn't know about the snap feature letting you go 5 minutes back, that would have got the part of the match I wanted. Well I learned something new to use.
Yeah, when you snap the game dvr, you have 2 options. End recording, which Ded mentioned. (30 second to 5 minutes) or the Start recording option, which does what it says :)
I might have to try that out sometime.
I picked up an Elgato as I keep forgetting to ask the Xbox to record. Now I can just cut what I want out of the matches and post them up on Youtube. Only thing that sucks is their is no voice due to Microsoft's setup on the One.
