GOW J achievements
Notice that there is no Seriously 4.0 this time around. and it looks like max lvl is 50.

I KNEW there'd be achievements based on this as soon as I saw the trailer where they were earning 'stars' for completion.
Looks like the 're-up' thing is back, the levels may only go to 50 but you still have to do it 4 times and we don't know how many XP it takes to hit 50 relative to how many XP it took to reach 100 in Gears3 or what the earning rate will be or if you have to play ranked or anything like that.
Overall though the star thing and the re-up thing are uninspired. I'm overly bored of these types of achievements.
The stars you get are part of the new "altered testimony" sections in the campaign. When you find a crimson omen in the level it gives you goals to meet in that area like "kill all enemies with a snub pistol" and as you accomplish those tasks it builds up 3 stars on a meter in the top left corner of the screen. Not sure what it takes to maintain those through the entire level or something. But I guess when the enemies spawn it starts, when you eliminate them all or meet the goal then they stop and you move on in the level.
Ya i know how it works, it's just boring and lame.
