I think you're just too used to TDM where people run around without giving a shit. I'll take warzone and execution over TDM any day. And I swear I felt less lag in Gears 2 today than half my Gears 3 games on 'servers'.

The Gears 3 maps weren't designed with warzone in mind and it doesn't play right on em. Those maps were built for horde and TDM, plenty of places to hold up and fight off waves of enemies. Not one Gears 3 map nearly as good as Security. I don't think the double barrel was nearly as big a deal as people make it out to be. I doublt we'll see too much of it in Judgement since you're only allowed one weapon. Can't imagine too many people choosing that one.
All I play is G3 forces of nature "old school" we always play execution and throw in a couple of Koth....no double barrels or modded hammies....and no retro just lancer and gnasher like the game was meant to be.......
I had a lot more fun playing Gears 2 because more people played it, but 3 is a much better game. Its smoother and you don't have to deal with modded Hammerbursts in Old School. I just wish I could play the Gears 2 maps in 3.
The maps in G2 where made for horde also all the maps in the last two gaqmes where made for horde and or beast mode they whrere not made for TDM or WZ if anything they where made for all game types which was a big mistake they should have made MP maps and horde and beast maps but they need to have the maps for all modes. In GOWJ the MP maps and Over run maps are not the same and I have a feeling you'll see just as many DB in the GOWJ as you do now with it haveing more shots and as fast as this game is going to play. People that have play tested it say it's as fast as 3 if not a little faster. Causes thats what Epic wants Gears of War Unreal.
Ah man. Wish I knew this was going down. I would jumped in on that for sure. I may start trying to get the MP achievements from Gears 1 and 2.
