Excited to play The Walking Dead: 400 Days, the transitional episode between The Walking Dead: The Game’s first and second seasons? Then you’re in luck.

 

Today, IGN can confirm that 400 Days will launch this week. Specific dates for various platforms are below.

  • Tuesday, July 2nd – PlayStation Network (North America)
  • Wednesday, July 3rd – PC/Mac (Steam, Telltale Games Store)
  • Friday, July 5th – Xbox Live (Worldwide)
  • Wednesday, July 10th – PlayStation Network (Europe)
  • Thursday, July 11th – iOS (Worldwide)

Getting back on topic...

I finished the DLC within 2 hours of starting it...and that might be generous.  

I think I'm going to go back and replay them all to see if I can get all 5 people to go with me at the end of the game....and I want to play Rock, Paper, Scissors.  You get a trophy if you win a game.  I never played it during my first play-through.

Glad to hear it's a bit longer. I got up to Vinces' story and stopped playing. I was a able to get thr Rock, Paper, Scissors trophy on the first try. The trophy is in Wyatts story.

Yeah, I saw the option pop up to play, but I didn't want to lose and go outside.  I wanted him to go and check.  He was the one who hit the bastard!   :)

It was cool and priced just right for what it was. Now I'm hoping that the choices I made will fold into season 2.

Never thpought about that.  May need to go back through and try again.  I had all but two follow me.

I think they already said it will roll over into season 2.

It felt almost like a kickstarter, give us $5 so we can jumpstart season 2 production and I'm ok with it.

What was y'all's favorite story? (no spoliers, just names). Mine was Wyatt's episode. 
 
Playing this Walking Dead was like watching "Creep Show"! For a few seconds, it actually had my normally calm gaming mode on panic setting. I was fumbling for keys and cursing WTF!...lol 
 
 
Not to explode 51 eveyone's minds, but I like "The Walking Dead" game a bit more than "The Last of Us".

I've already said that "The Last of Us" is an excellent game. It has beautiful environments, a good story, solid game play and tons of things I love to do. Strangling people was the most fun, and I really enjoyed crafting new weapons (the shivs were most enjoyable :). The game also fulfilled my need to search every nook and cranny for goodies.
 
Here comes the "but" part. 
 
I found the game a bit too predictable. I figured out the ending about half way through.  Not much caught me off guard in "The Last of Us". SPOILER ALERT!!!...One thing that did, though, was Elli's perseverance through her day-to-day struggles, which was refreshing.
 
Maybe I've become jaded. I play so many of this type of game, that it takes a bit more to wow me. 
 
I agree with you that overall "The Last of Us" is the better game by a lot of measures. It has more substance than "The Walking Dead". It's just that I **enjoyed** playing "The Walking Dead" more.
 
 
Now, if you'll excuse me, warping zone ahead. . .
