Stay away from the Turtle Beach P4C!

I just bought this headset the week of Christmas and now its making poping sounds in my ear. Probbaly from a loose wire, I would avoid this headset at all costs. http://www.gamestop.com/accessories/ear-force-p4c-chat-communicator/112088

I have yet to have this issue but for 20 bones you cant beat it, I mean it's better than the ear piece that came with the system. I would also recommend staying away from the Gold Headset too. Had mine for 24 hours and returned it. No bass and flimsy build quality. Yes it's only a hundred bucks but so we're the pulse and they were way better. The downloadable audio profiles... can't say I noticed much of a difference when using them.

Well I just ordered the gold headset. I have had really bad luck with Turtle beach products and great luck with sony products. I really dont care for bass so as long as it sounds good I will be golden.

Well I am really lost for words. I bought another Turtle Beack P4C and the dam thing is doing the same thing. This one broke after 3 uses, I am getting the same poping sound in my ear again. I knew I should have just bought the Sony headset, but I bought a phone case and a 64gb memory card for my phone instead. I am going to get the Sony headset as soon as I am able, And I am never going to touch another Turtle Beach product.

Hey Outcast did you download the program to adjust the sound profiles by chance? I'm curious if the lack of bass was just tied to the profile you had loaded.

Also when you say pulse are they the elites or the regular? If they are the elite watch out for the skinny part of the plastic that holds the cup, just below that silver dial. They are prone to cracking and breaking right there.

Just the regular. I had downloaded some of the sound profiles for the gold set when I had them but it didn't help. I never did try tweaking my own settings... by that point I kinda made up my mind that I didn't like the golds.
