Spot buys a 40

No, no, no, not that type of 40

40" screen measured diagonally from corner to corner

For optimal viewing in medium-size rooms.

Ultraslim design (1-15/16" deep)

Ideal for wall mounting (with optional mounting kit, not included). VESA 400mm x 400mm compliant.

Incredible contrast ratio (3500:1 - 5000:1)

For an arresting viewing experience.

1080p display

Provides the highest quality progressive-scan picture possible from a high-definition source.

Two 6W speakers

Create a lush soundscape.

Inputs

Include 1 composite (side), 1 component (side), 3 HDMI (rear), 1 PC and 1 RF (rear).

Outputs

Include 1 audio (rear).

3 HDMI inputs

HDMI cable not included. High-speed HDMI cable is the only connection that can deliver a full HDTV experience with a full 1080p picture and digital surround sound.

PC video input

Lets you connect your computer to experience high-resolution images.

It's 120hz, LED backlighting

Sound is pretty decent if you have in a room vs a living room without a sound system. It was on sale for $399.99 so I pulled the trigger on it.

Quite pleased with it so far.

I have no idea what down to 24 means, but it sounds good to me.  I have an old high-end  102 Sony Bravia. I adore that darn piece of hardware. The glass frame surounding it looks nice, but makes it difficult to move.

Now, if you'll excuse me, it's all about being a happy gamer...TV's, gaming systems, headsets, software = 18
