Seems simple enough. But really, 500 gigs should be more than enough.

I think I'm over 500 Gig in my PS3 now.  I'll have to double check.  

PS+ sucks up drive space like no other.

I put a 750gb in January, when you consider I had already used 100GB of the 120GB HDD I had which was transferred over at the start, I've now got less than 400GB left.

There have been a few 40+GB single game installs.

Why do you need to have so many games installed at one time? Are you playing all of them?

it can take forever to download some of the larger games and u never know when the mood strikes for a particular game. It will be interesting to see how the next-gen games are since Killzone shadow fall is 50GB. I'm hoping that is because compression hasn't been mastered yet.
