I love FTL! Yeah, it's Oregon trail in space, but with an actual combat system. It's brutal though. But it's kinda fun watching everything go horribly wrong. It only takes about 30 mins for most games. You should really try it out.

I love this game. The stories of epic failure that come out of this game remind me of my stories of epic failure in DayZ lol and I love that :) I was looking at my friends list and I was like "wow this guy has played for 14 hours already." Then I noticed I played for 2+ and thought I had played for about half an hour lol
Can't wait to sacrifice some more red shirts tonight :D
yeah unlocked the Engi ship this a.m. playing on Normal. I was worried because I unlocked and then my wife blew the fuse and my computer went off! and I was like NOOOOO hasn't my crew suffered enough!!! Without you ruining my life! (I appologized....but I was into it lol) anywho after the reboot I found my Engi ship was still unlocked :D
Wiped out my entire crew and the enemy crew last night out of frustration / eminent death.
It just gets to the point where you are like "Yes! I have 5 or 6 crew members, upgraded everything, weapons are set to rape etc." but then something goes horribly wrong and you get ass fucked by some stupid Mantis raid party in a meteor shower while fighting some dick head ship with 3 shields and the death star death ray relentlessly setting your ship on fire! AAAAAARRRRGGGG!!!!
I've almost pulled the trigger a couple of times on this one.......damnit.....I'm going to pick it up lol

My favorite way to kill is to disable the doors and watch my enemies die from asphyxiation.

Very fun and addictive game. Its amazing how well some runs can go, only to turn south at a drop of the hat!
