$60 WTF !

JAMC are playing a club up here not a hall a club and they want $60 plus service charges ... seriously ?

Are you frakking kidding me ? Half of me is amused by the balls of that ticket price the other half is seriously insulted. Spirtualized are playing the same place for $30

Last time I saw JAMC was on Halloween at the Skydome with Spiritualized + Curve + Pure and I think we payed $30

I would not spend $60 to see ANY band PERIOD !

Bonkers insane for a venue with a capacity of 1100.

I would rather pay $60 to see it at a small venue than $60 to go to some giant cock rock arena.  Why would you want to pay more money to have more annoying fucking ugly people around you and be further away from the band.....doesn't make sense.

I second that. I'd much rather see bands at small venues and pay full ticket price.  I saw Disturbed at their very last small venue in Chicago before they exploded and started doing 30K+ attendance shows.  The small venue was like 2,500 people and it is still one of my all time favorite concerts. I've seen Megadeth a few times at venues of 7K or less which was a boat load of fun, where as I saw Metallica at a 50K plus attendance and it kind of sucked.

I have no problem with small venues and prefer to see bands in them HOWEVER !

$60 is ludicrous just for one band, and one that's NOTORIOUS for 40 mins sets.

First time I saw them, well ... it made their wiki :)

The band's dangerous reputation culminated at a gig at the RPM club in Toronto in November 1987, when after being heckled throughout the gig by a group in the audience, Jim Reid thrust his microphone stand towards them, hitting one on the head and slashing another on the arm Jim was arrested and spent a night in jail, before being bailed to return the following February. He was subsequently given an absolute discharge after agreeing to give around £500 to a Salvation Army charity and apologise to the complainants

Hell of a gig though !

Put them with another band of equal stature and maybe, maybe I'd pay $60 for a double bill, else they can suck it ! Band hasn't released anything for almost a decade. They are playing a race track in LA for $10 for pete's sake.

I'd pay $60 IF I got ...

1) a download code for everything they have ever released

2) Tour Shirt

3) Free Beer

4) They play five songs of MY choosing

To put this in perspective the first/last time I saw U2 was the Achtung Baby tour and that was $32.50 and that was the most expensive show I had ever paid for. Even the first lollapoloza was cheaper then this.

Garbage are playing the same venue for $28.50 +s/c at the end of May
