This might be the first week for completing a 34 PoE. I'll have my guy at 34, and will have better stuff.... Wouldn't you know it though, that the chest piece from last week is all about a buff against Hive... No Hive this week.... :(

The maxed strength from the PoE gear is getting a bit old.  If they going all strength without changing it up, that stuff is quickly going to get sharded when I have the etheric light to upgrade better gear.

I think this may be the point (or I'm giving Bungie too much credit). They have allow us a relatively easy way of reaching 34 by running the 32 PoE and getting the armor core each week for a piece of Light 42 gear. Once at 34 you can start running the higher PoE for the Etheric Light to then upgrade the pieces you actually want to use.

That's exactly why they did that.  I think Bungie was really clever with that decision, actually.  You can hit 34 pretty fast/easy, but if you take that route, its all strength gear.

Edited to add: Mr. Tabasco scooped me on that.  Great minds, or some shit.

NF this week is super easy with the primary weapon buff (small arms).  We took down the priest before the first drop ship appeared with all 3 firing primary weapons.  My VOC was actually knocking him back.

Sweet. I'll have to run that a few times this week. Take my 3 titans through.

VoC destroyed the NF this week, almost 7K critical hits on mobs at 365.  The only thing to watch out for are the snipers and the solar shotguns on the Captains/Archon.  Everything else goes down fast.  All i got was a crappy AR.  Still have to take my warlock and titan through once the hunter is through the IB.

The weekly Ominigul is kinda fun with brawler on.  Should be a good time in the Titan bubble.

PoE 32.... anyone completed it?  We tried last evening... final round fail. No fun. Yellowbars way too strong. Felt more like a 34 without shields or grenades, and with weak guns.

I tell you Blue, this morning the captains and the hobs sure made it hard, had some tense moments with FramusBar where we almost lost it at the end. This is what makes Destiny so much fun.

Was able to get thru final round with a strategy developed by one of the team:

Everyone goes all the way left on the walkway and stays fairly close to each other.  Cuts down on the angles the bad guys can use on you -- elimiinates a left flanking move altogether and makes the jailbreak easier to do.

One member focuses on the eye of the whatever goblin and takes it down to get the jailbreak perk.

One member focuses on the boss.

The third member takes out adds, helps with the boss, and takes out the eye if necessary.

Took us several tries to get comfortable with the approach and what to expect, but once we had it, we were able to take out the boss in a reasonable amount of time.  Call outs, especialy for the eye are extremely important!!

Thx Achy - Any recommendations for guns, classes etc?

I've heard about two successful strategies. One we failed at, where we went all the way right. We couldn't kill yellowbar Hobs fast enough or see/kill the "eye" fast enough every time. It's really busy, and one of us was down usually all the time. I guess there's a video showing a team completing it from the right side... I don't like the right side.

The other was where the team had two bubble Titans and stayed near the center. We didn't try that one. Sounds scary & exposed. As the story goes, all three Guardians have 7 Gjallarhorns each when they enter the map and their cooldowns will allow another load as soon their first 7 rockets have been loosed. 42 Gjs kill the boss, so they say. This is a 32????

I've thought that helmets that restore health when picking up an orb would be a good idea, then use strats that generate orbs for each other. Otherwise, you have no health the whole time with all the splash damage and Hobs.

Completed PoE 32 last night with my Titan and 2 Hunters. It took us 3 or 4 tries to get the final round done.

We each had rockets loaded and our cooldowns reset. Dropped a bubble just outside the entrance and proceeded to pop in and out of the bubble. I think we fired around 20-25 rockets total before the big guy went down, and never had to deal with Jailbreak.

For Qoodron, Super Good Advice works great. You can destroy the bubbles without Jail Break if necessary. If the Eye is far away, shot of its head. It will charge you. Titans with suppression grenades are helpful.

You could always pop the bubbles without Jail Break.  It took 6 shots from a 331 Swordbreaker for me.  There's no need for Super Good Advice, as far as I'm concerned.  Spend that exotic slot on pretty much anything else.

We did a 32 PoE last night. Seemed almost too easy... One of us was a Titan with a Weapons of lIght bubble. The bubble was set up on the near edge of the map just outside the tunnel where you entered the map. There was a wide & clear lane to the platform where the boss appears. One of us was a 34 and the other two were 33s. The boss was down after 30 Gjallarhorns. It all happened very fast. The "Eye" didn't even appear it was that quick.
