I downloaded the bundle this morning, played both maps and all game types except for KoTH on Vertago and had a blast. Word of caution though - if you don't go in with a full team (most F'ing randoms suk) on the Pit and end up playing Ricochet be prepared to loose/die as it seems the Grifball community has desended upon the game type for better or worse.

The Pitfall is a solid remake of a classic map.  However as solid of a map it once was it is again ruined by Infinity Slayer and the new tactical packages 343 recently implemented. Just an example here, I have seen more than a few people just absolutley dominate with the Sword and Resistor equiped.  Riccochet is a real fun new gametype but does lose its appeal after about the 5th game.  Vertigo, the other map to come in the Champions bundle, fails so bad that it actually lowers the bar even worse for what I already thought was rock bottom.  Cluttered and congestested this map has absolutley no shooting lanes, the average engagment range feels like it's less than 10 feet, and with the EMP emmiter it feels like this tried to take a gameplay element from Gears of War and totally botched it.  On top of everything what is even worse just by quickley judging the overlay this map really cannot smoothly cater to anyother gametypes that Infinity Slayer and that is already about as fun as sticking your hand into a meat grinder.  If you have not already bought this I give you only this....DO NOT BUY THIS DLC!

No worries. 343 isn't getting another dime out of me for Halo 4.

So far the maps are ok liked the vertigo map mainly for the variaty from the other maps. Pit plays a little better than before (halo 3). Hopefully they will do a better job with the newer maps. BTW had a blast playing the new maps with MrGuster and PaPaGeek and the rest of the 2o2p gang!!!

I like the maps. Pit is awesome and Vertigo is pretty good too. Overall it was well worth the money.

Pit is fine.  I still haven't played Vertigo yet.  I'd say its worth the six bucks.

The jetpack breaks the Pit.  No surprise there though.

Wonder when they are going to come out with an "introduced bugs" video.  Seems like the latest title update and/or DLC introduced some bugs in H4.  The one impacting me right now is that if you go into a campaign mission, then all your load outs are reset to defaults and all your spent loadout credits are "reimbursed."  Also saw reported where armor mods made to one profile in a family pack are automatically made to other profiles.  Thanks yet again 343.

I first came in to post that I found it weird that this TU and what not would screw that up, but with all the new changes to armor and loadout options, that makes sense. Maybe it simply wasn't tested enough before being released?
