Vault of Glass

Read that the vault opens Sept 16th and you have to be level 25.

Hope it's worth it.

Considering it is going to have the absolute best gear in the game, I'll bet it is :). I'm very happy they delayed the opening though. Less people racing to the end means more people taking their time and enjoying this lucious pizza of a game that Bungie has created!

I agree. I plan on taking my time to explore the game and take it all in.

Hell no.  Burn right through that game and get to max level PvP as fast as you can.

Is it just me, or does Iron Banner not sound compelling to anyone else?

I think you'll get some unique rewards for the Iron Banner (like the legendary ship and hand cannon in the beta) so I intend to try it. Hopefully matchmaking is somewhat decent.

I guess that's something.  I'm not very loot-inclined and prefer my matchmaking where everyone gets an even start, like all their previous games.

I'm honestly more hyped for MCC than Destiny.  I think that's a pretty safe way to look at it too: prepare to be underwhelmed and see what happens.

Give it til October. Everyone will run the raid and get the "best" gear in the game, so everyone will have the same stuff and we'll get the even footing starts.

I like to look at too much shiney shit in a game like this.  No way I will be lvl 20 (25) by the 16th.

pisses driver off sometimes cuz she will find me off in the weeds looking at how awesome the detail on a rock is.  Lol

Ha don't doubt yourself yet! I was looking around profiles on Bungie.net and noticed Deej on his latest build was level 10 in under 5 hours. Granted, he has a had a lot more time with the game than us, but he hadn't spent any time in crucible, just story/explore stuff. Also, playing the crap out of the beta like we did, it's easy to think we'll be to level 8-10 in the first night of hitting it hard.

Although there is a ton of content to explore. I'm not in any rush to see the raids, I just think we'll all be level 20 within a week. That's where the real game begins anyways (or so they say!).
