MLG is like the nascar of competitive gaming.  Nothing gives you an edge over your opponent except skill, tactics, and communication.

Whomever said that vanilla halo is for noobies obviously hasn't played much MLG.  If you play a skilled player in a non-loadout list; you will soon see why all the AA's are a detriment to competitive play.  If used as a pickup, it brings balance back into the game.

Longer interaction times mean less multikills, and should therefore mean longer spawn times as well...If not, then objective games are going to be horrifically long, and boring.

BR should be a 4 shot weapon, and the DMR should be 5.  Simply stated bc the BR has a 12 shot string, and the DMR will shoot 5 boolits.  AR should be thrown in a lake of fire to fry.

Just like in the real world, if you want to see who is a better marksman; throw up some iron sights on a rifle and set the target at 100 yds.  No optics.  VANILLA stuff.  Same thing applies for MLG; it's just that a smoot trigger pul and breath control is not necessary...unless you are sitting next to the kid who plays WoW in a diaper. :)

Editor: You said "DMR" twice for being a 4 and 5 shot kill.  I assume you meant to have one be the BR, and I guessed.

I agree the BR needs to be a 4 shot and I think the DMR should be a 4 shot too. After watching alot of gameplay gun battles go on way to long even without AAs being used.

I don't mind new things like AAs, but they should take some skill to use.

"Longer encounter times" seems to be the new meme.  I think longer encounter times makes the game sloppier, and I'd be fine with 4 shot kills.  I assume it's a 5 shot kill with the DMR because you can fire it faster.  That's just a total guess on my part.

I would agree with the 5 shot kills due to faster fire rate.  :)

It's really hard for me to count 1,2,3,4 headshot in reach though for some reason.  1,2,3 Headshot was much easier :)

I also noticed that the auto-aim seems have less magnetism than in other Halo games, but in the H3 beta the auto aim seemed less than in the final product.
