There will be a FFA community playlist sometime soon. I do not know when or for how long. I have seen that the Community Cartographers are testing new maps and that usually means their intended for MM.
Get all the ones from the Throwdown playlist. Avoid all others.

J12 has a few good classic remakes that he downloaded.
what Dixon said and Cella ,Cypher and Lotus in my file share are decent.
You might want to avoid Monolith and Skyline, unless your complete group has purchased the majestic map pack.
This won't help for now but when the FFA Forge contest concludes, you might find some there since the good ones will likely support 4v4.
The current ones in MM are quite good, as mentioned above.
