Spawn issue thoughts

Occasionallty I am repeatedly spawned very near the enemy in the same match and get shot in the back or face at close range within a few steps.   Does this happened to anyone else here?

Yeah.  Sometimes it depends on the gametype or even the map.  If you're running around with a hectic team anywhere, you're going to spawn in some crazy ass places.  If you've got a team establishing order, with a plan, spawns aren't bad at all on most maps.

Even with a good team spawns can still get pretty fucked if you have an enemy close to your teammates. Hell, they don't really have to be that close. Too many times I've gone from 7 and 0 just to die and then spawn in the middle of the other team. My 7 and 1 quickly becomes an 8 and 5 by the time I get back to my team.

Or you have a map locked down and an enemy spawns behind you – even when the entire team is still in your original spawn. Stonehaven is a prime example.

But you know that's happening.  Let me guess, you spaend and held C, everyone drifted close to C dom and you had someone over influencing the spawns over at B dom.  They spawned at the broken house in the corner by C spawn, right?

Yeah, that's  your team's fault for pushing B too much.  You can also identify that if you look to see where your team is.

I have maybe played 3 games of Dom, and no idea if one of those were on Stonehaven.  Typically the team will migrate away from the broken house at the start of the game and a sniper or marksman will drop an enemy right off the bat.  That enemy will then immediately spawn behind us even though he should be spawning back by his team in his original spawn as that is theoretically the safest place for him to spawn.  So no, it is not my teams fault but the designers of the spawn system.
