She doesn't need a hammer, that's why she's the objectivemvp. I remember a couple games weeks ago during clan night: snipeball and Free's ctf dedication map. During the snipeball game, the final score was zombie-3, enemy team-2. During the ctf game, there was something like 3 minutes left in the game and our team was down 2-0. We ended up winning in the final 45 seconds. Zombie pulled every flag we captured and was able to score 2 of those captures (someone else scored the final one). So her hammer or sword are not required, her ability to score is.
Team A is me(captain,) Wamam87, Deep NNN, and x Hoplite x.
Team B is Beau dog(captain,) Free Radikal, Legendcalledjim, and Ders 0ne.
Team C is Darth Tabasco (captain,) Old n Achy, i6 Hitman, and Kenjamin1 MI.
Team D is Freyn Ap Thyr (captain,) Omgalaserpewpew, thez0mbiekitten, and Badger 0867.
Details more details will be posted when I get home from work. I think it'll be one week for each team set, with games set up by team captains at every team's best convenience. I used Halotracker to try to make the most balanced teams. Captains will set up the games with everyone. Any questions?
I was thinking of a few ways to run this. I wanted to have a Grifball night, but its hard to organize a big group in the summer since people go on vacation, so I propose this. There will be three team matchups, and at the end of the tournament every team will play every team. It will be up to the captains to arrange a night where everyone on their team can play. There will be a ten day window for each team to play their games, and then the next round moves on. The schedule is:
Round 1- Team A vs Team D and Team B vs Team C 7/10-7/19
Round 2-Team A vs Team C and Team B vs Team D 7/20-7/29
Round 3- Team A vs Team B and Team C vs Team D 7/30-8/8
I realize this has the potential to be a long ass tournament, so if anyone wants to play their games sooner I do not have a problem with that. This is my first time running a tournament. Please use this thread to post your game results. Each round will consist of 5 games. A win is worth 1 point, and ties are worth 1/2 a point. The team with the most points wins. The maps to be played are all found in my fileshare. The order of maps to play in are as follows:
Termitarium
Grifball Fissue
Primordial
Hangar 101
Thin Ice
Default rules for Grifball are used. Grifball Court and Primordial are found under Erosion, Hangar 101 and Thin Ice are found under Impact. Grifball Fissure and Termitarium are found under Ravine.
