Sepics Prime - absorbs Void?

I think I noticed Sepics Prime absorbing the Void energy out of my Ward of Dawn.

I just dropped the bubble and was taking it rather easy when Sepics Prime seemed to suck the energy away causing the shield to collapse quite early.

I haven't done a timed test..

FWIW

Void attacks kill the bubble shield faster.  Eg a Nova Bomb from a Warlock will down the shield in a single shot.  Sepsik Prime probably uses void damage for his blasts so the shield comes down faster.

I think that sucking motion is kinda like his melee attack.  He does it whenever you are close, whether there is a shield up or no.  I DO believe that it is some kind of special that knocks down a titan shield though, as he seems to have removed mine before too.

I had no idea that your shield could be knocked down by player damage though.  I thought it was invulnerable for a set amount of time?  Ive seen it fall when people shoot it sometimes, but I thought that just coincidentally coincided with the end of the bubble time.  Here is the in-game description:

"Shape Void Light into an indestructible shield to protect you and your allies from harm."

If someone has a link or some authority showing you can knock it down, I would love to see it.  I did a quick google and couldnt find anything definitive.

I can confirm 100% that I've Nova bombed a Titan bubble in Crucible and it destroyed the bubble. I've done this many times and most times it will kill the occupants.

If they happen to have an armor buff of some sort, it will generally strip their shields and leave them "one shot".

Agreed, it is known.  Done it, and remember reading at the Bungie forums as true as well.

Thank you both!  I didnt know because I only play my striker in pvp.

Unless you count the times where I forget to change my class and run into a room full of enemies hoping to hulk-smash them and I accidental give them a shield instead.  :)

Ha just did that last night, my defender at that point didnt even have special unlocked yet.  Or run in to nova bomb and go to radiance not the effect I was looking for.

Two Golden Gun shots can take a bubble out too.  That's fun to bust out on a bunch of folks that are sitting inside it, in seemingly perfect safety.

I just got excited because I have video evidence from myself to back it up.

Ignore the "Back in Action" medal- that's just a glitch I'm sure.
