I hope it hold out, I've been playing a lot of GT 5 lately and have to admit, its a very diffrent game than what launched 3 years ago... And seeing the real Gulf GT40 was a huge boon as I never knew it was in there.
But I play GT totally diffrent than Forza, the 24hour Nurburgring tack (time and weather change) is so sublime that I can run laps endlessly... And all the cars behave so differently that test driving them really is a joy.
But I don't expect GT 6 to redefine the series, Kaz isn't really a gamer so the "game" part/s has always been the weaker link... I'd love to know Kaz's vision if "real driving simulator" was changed to "real racing simulator". Its easier to call a racing game a driving game that to call a driving game a racing game... See what I did there? Lol
I absolutely love the changing time of day & weather too. Lemans is absolutely beautiful at night!
Looking forward to it as I don't plan on getting either new system at launch. Maybe a PS4 down the road, but probably won't even look at it until GT7 is ready to roll around. 95% of my time has been on computer sims & Guild Wars 2.
I love GT5 and cannot wait for GT6. I have made quite the investment in my sim racing equipment, and GT5 was a huge factor. The CSW wheel, cockpit, triple screens (including two extra PS3s and copies of GT5), THR8S shifters, etc. all are well worth it because of GT5. I am Level 40 in both a and b spec and have played almost all seasonal events since they started in late 2010 or early 2011. My PSN ID is in my sig.
