Just like Halo 3, CSR is one game behind. Played 2 more games of swat. Am now at least a 26, probably higher, as I couldn't get the CSR to update by just "searching" in swat, as you could with H3 ranks.
Pretty funny though, SWAT went way up, and snipers shows a 1 after one game, yet I went way positive in it as well. It's solo CSR as well right?
I would assume CSR rank much faster because it is a way to balance skill for players and it would be unfair for lesser skilled players to have to go up against better players for weeks before the rank leveled off.
But when is it going to be any different than me running swat and dominating? Even if they had a CSR before the "reset", I have yet to find a game as challenging as lvl 50 anything in H3.

If you were a 30 in pre-patch H2, you were pretty beastly.
CSR is a joke. They are matching me with lower ranks with JIP and due to that, my CSR dropped to 25. It's fucking hilarious that they think it works at all. If they aren't going to match by CSR, why the F are they saying it's been working behind the scenes all along? +24 against lower people, and because they are horrendous, we drop a CSR level. Never seen that before.
Well, it readjusted some data, and bumped to a 33. JIP seems to be messing with the CSR though, especially if the other team has people who dropped also.
I thinks it's working as it should. Me and a buddy have been playing Swat all week long, his play style it more aggressive, fast paced where as mine is more layed back, his CSR is 35 and my CSR is 20 (we both go possitve in our K/D, his is just much larger)
I don't believe your k/d is factored into your ranking. Kills? Yes. Deaths? No. That means you can have a negative k/d but the highest number of kills in the match and your csr will be higher than the guy with a better k/d but lower amount of kills.

Ok, that makes sinse, he is alway getting twice as many kills as me. Guess I need to play more aggressivly and not worrry about that K/D. Thanks OMG

Used to be if you got matched, you went down if you lost to lower peeps. CSR=Rank or TruSkill. What a joke to sucker people back into the game.
Maybe CSR will have some value in the Site Wide. Perhaps it could help balance the teams more easily.
