Power Adapters for Fanatec Wheels
For some odd reason the power adapter for my fanatec wheel died last night. Tried several different working outlets and surge protectors but the little green light doesn't light and the wheel won't power up.
I've only had the wheel a month and even then only use it on the weekends. The adapter shouldn't have failed this quickly. Thankfully Fanatec was quick to ship out a replacement. I'm figuring I'll have it in the next day or so.
Just curious if any of you other Fanatec owners have had similar issues with the power adapter.
No power adapter problems for me with my Fanatec GT2 in the past 20 months - I do however unplug it completely from the 120V supply whenever I am leaving the wheel OFF.
There have been posts on other forums about adapter failures so probably have to just put it down to a random failure.
No mate no issues with either the CSR or the Elite and they are always connected and used daily. Just a duff one I expect.
Shaggy...I remember when I got my new Elite Wheel...Power Supply lasted one month also!
Two Turbo S wheels and one Elite and never an issue with a power adapter here. Can also confirn that if you plug the cables into the wrong holes the wheel will not start up but that's an entirely different brain fart that plagued Parcells one evening...Doh!
Cables in to the wrong holes.
Csr Elite for me and no power adapter problems for me either . Sorry to hear that. From experience you will not have to wait long for customer support to send you your part . They have improved in that department by leaps and bounds "BRAVO FANATEC!"
I contacted Fanatec Wednesday night when I realized the power supply was toast. They responded Thursday that they were sending a replacement and it was waiting for me when I got home from work on Friday. I agree. Excellent customer service.
