Please consider getting all of the DLC.

Please consider getting all of the DLC.

This is NOT a rant and is not a serious complaint directed at any one individual.

This is NOT a suggestion that some people spend money they don't have.

I respect that some people don't want to waste money on product they don't personally want.

Those things being said, it would make the 2old2play Site Wide operate a bit more smoothly if more people had all of the maps and with the benefit of being able to jump into games more readily. You are most welcome without the maps but sometimes it can be a challenge to get people in when their DLC portfolio is incomplete.

Come May 21 or June's E3, we should know if Halo 4 is going to be a 12 month wonder or a two year title. If it's a two year title and you still like to play Halo 4 with friends, I recommend you get all the DLC maps. I recommend it because I don't want logistics barriers to come between members who want to play together. If enough people were playing Halo 4, we could conceivably run DLC and non-DLC parties but sadly, there aren't enough people playing. Please, please, do not take this as a 'go away' if you don't have the DLC. I'm only asking that you think about the logistics of playing with other members.

Agreed.  Each map pack is less than the price of a movie ticket, and even if you only play semi-regularly you get a lot more entertainment value for your dollar.

seeing where the game goes after the update is what im waiting for, i own all the map packs except castle and if the community raves about the game after the posted date ill most likely buy and start playing again.

I really think that it would be in the best interest of games to make DLC maps free after 4 or 5 months. At that point it would really boost numbers.
