Pcars goes big @ CES
SMS and partners teamed upped at This yrs CES and went big to show and promote Pcars that will be released this fall. I can't wait for this title as I've been testing it for the past 1.5 yrs and things are finally coming together and getting exciting :)
Very cool. I love the last quote from the Maximum PC editor: "Suck it consoles!"
I don't see the point, I could race a real car for a season for what that setup would cost!
Looking forward to PCars though, hope it's better than some of the other racing games around on the PC just now!
Some tech geeks take more pride in a killer setup than cars :)
only reason I built a PC was to get envolved with the project cars build, during my absence from consoles I spent thousands of $$$ on games, content, addon gimmicks, multiple screens, PC upgrades etc. and was never really satisfied and always felt they were missing something. Over the holidays I spent the best $40 in the past 2 yrs and got a ps3 and it took 5 mins to realized I had found what I was thriving for......being able to create, customize, build and tune cars to compete against other while racing in larger fields with guys that are more relaxed yet competitive at the same time :) something that non of the current PC titles aside from Pcars offers.
i would have to say ATM gt6 is the best well rounded game and offers the most features so I really look forward to the release of gt7 on ps4 as well as Pcars
I second that!! From 1997 to around 2005 I spent a fortune on building PC's, multi monitor setups and Flight Simulator software, upgrading components every 3 to 6 months and now I hardly use the PC.
Although I do have most of the racing sims you guys use on the PC, I don't have a great deal of time to get them all running how I want! I bought GSC2013 and Formula Truck when they were on special for Black Friday, but never really set them up yet! Same with rFactor, bought it for the BTCC then never got round to it. I'm in the 2O2R forums a lot, I just don't post very much.
I loved Forza and GT, had both since the inital releases, but there was always something missing until I stumbled on 2O4F late in 2012! Now it just feels right (although they need to fix that damn clutch in GT6!!!).
