Oversight in Forza 4 Horsepower Rivals

Looks like whoever programmed this month's rival events missed a setting on their Horsepower events.

I think they intended players to use only bone stock cars that fit the event specs but they forgot to disallow upgrades.

 

If you have an upgraded car in your garage that meets the event criteria you'll be allowed to use it but it will be stripped of all the upgrades prior.  With some creative tuning you can get fast cars into an event that shouldn't be eligible like the Viper CC, The Sesto Elemento and the Ultima GTR.

 

Not sure if T10 will reset those events or not.  My guess is it'll depend on how badly players game the system and how many complaints they get.
