Old folks put Crota to bed
First time I helped finish off Crota with the over age 50 gang. Technically, I think were all over 60 now.
It was only from the Crota check point since we had done the first part the night before.
It was difficult but we had some very funny moments. Sometimes, you just have to be there.

One of the funny moments was folks giving Chaos grief about his pronunciation of "Gjallarhorn" (which many of the group don't yet own).
You can hear the correct pronunciation of the word here: [url]http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/gjallarhorn[/url]. The "Gj" sounds like "Y". Not that anybody really cares, but...
Regardless, I'll stick to calling it my "jelly".
I'm looking forward to personally whacking that big green beast to death next time.
Congrats and sorry for not answering the invite from Chaos. I was actually in the middle of a Croata HM raid. Ironically, taking out Croata was the easiest part of the raid. Also keeping up with team members who are half your age is always an exciting challenge
I still don't get that pronunciation.
The best part was when AARP asked how to say it in Canadian.
I didn't know Crota is green. He looks light blue to me. I have colour issues.
Well the whole environment looks kind of greenish-blue to me. My wife'll tell you I don't have the best eye for color.
As long as he falls to the mighty Over 50s I don't care what color he is.

Yay! We did it again and did more of the raid.
We experienced a weird glitch after the second bridge. The Shrieker was down but these energy barriers came up and stoppoed most of us. I got ditched to orbit.
I wielded the Sword and after 3-4 re-dos we beat him. I'm a first timer.
Got my Raid helmet too.

Yes, even got to go from the second bridge twice because someone forgot which checkpoint was with which character when he was given lead

Crota beat me down bad tonight. I hope the remaining crew were able to shove his finger up his butt.
Chaos jumped in after you left and took him out. I felt bad that I had to leave after that because I think he was just warming up.
We got our revenge against Crota NM. 5 swords.

But my titan bows to you in his now complete set of Crota Raid armor! Your sacrifice is appreciated! :-). Also, thanks to you and Deep for the coaching and the patient demonstrations. I have a vastly better understanding of what works and doesn't work in CE now.
If you only knew what we don't know.
We have to make time for you and the others to run the sword and whatever else you need/want. Especially now that your gear is top notch.
