I can help if needed Vic, just send me an invite if I'm not otherwise engaged.
Pro Tip:
The adds spawn in the last area based on when you kill the flayers. If you can work to bring each one's health down and then try to kill them all together you won't have to deal with as many drop ships/add spawns.
Thanks for the offers, I'll look tonight for you two. I'm just starting to get the quests finished up on my Warlock. My Titan is level 40 with 280 light but I haven't even started on the House of Wolves with him yet. I guess I'm gonna have to start to I can get him lighted up...
I carry all three swords (one of each flavor), and switch for each Flayer. As a Warlock, I run Sunsinger with self-res. If I die while swording a Flayer I can res and stay in the fight for a while longer before running/jumping back to the hallway. As a Titan, I select Defender with a blind bubble and blessing of light. I run out, drop a bubble over a Flayer, then go to work with the matching sword. It's a big help (essential) to have teammates pouring fire on what needs fire. In any case, you have to wait for a lull in the number of ads for each run at a Flayer.
BTW - I used the Sleeper Simulant to excellent effect for the 3 cyclops earlier in the mission.
Thanks for Darth and Old for last night's Nightfall. Everything went very smooth after we got out of the first room where the vex keep spawning behind us. Received some 310 boots that took me up to a light level of 299. If the destiny fokes would deem me worthy of something good tonight I could break 300!
I got my first flayer cloak too, so I'm happy. I got the solar cloak, but would like to collect them all - the void is my fav.
We did the strat I mentioned above where we worked each flayer down and the killed them all together and it was much easier. The adds do not spawn after the initial wave as long as you leave them alive.
We discovered a trick last night. If one of 3 players remains behind in the entrance hallway, that will keep about 6 Cabal permanently entertained.

I already did this week's nightfall but can help out. Just send me an invite if you see me online.
I will be available if needed. Haven't run NF yet.
