My next series and handicaps
I get it that handicaps stink for the guys strapped with them. That is part of the reason why the AIX series only goes to a maximum of 10%.
However I think the next series will have handicaps adjusted before the race and we will run two races so that any adjustments can be made between races. Again I get it that it stinks. And there are pros and cons both ways. BUT, this way makes for killer racing.
Remember this series? The entire field ran like this virtually all of every race. And I didn't run less than 10% at any of these races.
But you got to pick a different car, there are more cars in the game and you got to atleast give them a chance. OR ARE YOU A ...........?.gif "53")
Oh ya for sure not the same cars. That was just a picture showing how close the field always was using that handicap system
But part of that is because it was the same car as well.
Unless HotRod thought you were gonna use the Ford again, in which case, never mind...
True. With the BMW's we ended up having equal times when we ran two different cars but that was only two and I tried to pick cars that I knew were similar in speed on that track.
So.......I might have to consider doing a single car/build again......
It's just easier IMO. And that way you can do more series without eating up all the cars.
Trick is with one car, might be a tad harder to find something everyone likes. You CAN suggest a car and ask people for what they think is comparable. There is a tremendous pool of tuning talent willing to offer their experience. I have none personally...
