Not 3.5 hours "per" week, rather 3.5 hours maximum in ONE sitting (well 4+ hours at least monthly)...but you're right lightweight.

 

I used to have my FFB at 100 but then I learned Fanatecs Elite wheel doesn't respond well to 100 so using 80 now sad

Parcells, I got my replacement CSR Elite and tried Forza at 80% force feedback on wheel, 100% in game.  It did not feel all that great and so I instead went with 100% on wheel, 80% in game.  Much better, and the wheel seems to run cool.

Ah well that is the overheating thing, and sounds like prime bull, as all the overheating stories seem to involve unattended wheels... but if I had an elite I would be playing it safe too. smiley CSR's are unaffected by that particular idiosyncrasy so 100% is best for Forza. The sens setting also just applies to Forza, iRacing 900degs is amazing and rFactor 1 I use 360...rF2 I'm still messing and have not found a mixture of wheel and software setting I am married to.

Well Happy Birthday ! The csr products are good! As the previuos post by Knight  not perfect . I have a Csr elite which I love . I did have to send my first wheel that I received in March back but I did get a replacement before sending my damaged wheel. Customer support (IMO) was excellent ! So good luck on your purchase . Hope to see you on the track!
